SOLO Garden Blitz

In 2018 we had the priviledge of partaking in an initiative to recreate spaces within schools into outdoor leaning and meeting areas for staff, students and their community.

"Millfield Public School, Natural Steps Preschool, Maitland Tutorial Centre, Metford Public School and Singleton Heights Public School, each received the help of a professional green thumb (including design, labour, plants soil conditioning, mulch and irrigation systems) to turn underutilised spaces into outdoor learning and meeting areas for staff students and their community. Our team, school staff, students and volunteers had a great time and a wonderful learning opportunity. By choosing to use your garden organics bin to dispose of your excess garden vegetation you have helped make this project possible.

The mulch, compost and soil conditioners used in the garden makeovers are produced by Australian Native Landscapes from the material collected in the garden organics bins.
